Tipner Regeneration, Portsmouth, Hampshire

In 2005 HED was appointed masterplanner for Tipner Point for the Tipner Regeneration Company.

Tipner Point is a 55 acre regeneration area of Portsmouth to be transformed with 2000 new waterfront apartments, town houses, hotel, local centre and waterfront residential tower, along with all the community facilities and public realm a new settlement will require.

The waterfront character was drawn from a rich maritime history associated with the Royal Navy, based in Portsmouth, and more recently the breaking up of naval submarines and ships which took place on Tipner Point.
