The Hyatt Regency Minsk, The Republic of Belarus
The Hyatt Regency sits next to the River Svisloch with its lakeside quality running through Minsk, the historic capital city of the Republic of Belarus.
Designed as a crystal with its faceted interior discovered beyond a stone façade, the building sits in an open lakeside woodland, where English and Belarusian influences meet at the ha-ha and then continue together in harmony through a series of terraces integrating hotel and landscape as the woodland is brought up and into the hotel over a series of levels.
The use of local techniques, themes and eye-catching artworks creates a unique and sensual Belarusian experience in the landscape.
