Hotels and resorts allow the designer the greatest of freedoms in new and often exotic locations. However, imagination and satisfying visitor's dreams and expectations with style and flair, go hand in hand with responsibilities to other landscapes and peoples. 

HED believes in starting with those landscapes and their people - understanding their histories and stories and their arts and their crafts, and using those as the basis for design concepts. 

Concepts rooted in localities offer context and engagement and provide the visitor with fond memories, stories of a place and an experience that transcends simple five star classification.
