Poole Harbour, Port of Poole, Dorset

A new harbour masterplan to secure the redevelopment of the Port of Poole Marina and a new 9 metre deep quay for small cruise ships, container feeder vessels and bulk cargo vessels. The marina includes for the creation of a Visitor Attraction Centre and new walkways out into the harbour all adjacent to the highly sensitive Isle of Purbeck landscape and World Heritage Site.

HED undertook the Landscape and Visual assessment and modelling work as part of a multidisciplinary team lead by engineers Ramboll.
