Nine Elms South Bank Design Guide, London

The Design Guide, for Transport For London, collated by HED establishes narrative and design guidance for the public realm of over 70 major redevelopment sites in London’s biggest Opportunity Area which includes Covent Garden Market, Battersea Power Station, Vauxhall Cross, and a host of other major sites from Lambeth Bridge to Chelsea Bridge.

It describes character areas and covers the new Linear Park and surrounding streets and infrastructure. It is used to brief developers and the public on the public realm context of the development sites, expectations of quality, and continuity of materials, design and approach.
