Hotel Denia La Sella, Denia, Spain

Originally designed and operated as Marriott’s second only hotel in Spain which opened in 2000, La Sella Golf Resort & Spa lies between the historic coastal towns of Dénia and Javea, situated on the Costa Blanca and is adjacent to one of the best golf courses in the region of Valencia.

Working with concept architects Wimberley Allison Tong & Goo, HED’s design places the resort in its local National Park context and then evolves through 'agricultural' terraces and eclectic streets with plazas and parks offering glimpses of exotic courtyards beyond.

The concept which is essentially a Spanish town with Moorish influences extends into the adjacent Premium Residences originally designed as a Marriott Vacation Club.
