Akash Wadhawan, Associate
Akash joined Hyland Edgar Driver in 2005 and has worked on a wide range of projects. Whilst Akash has an architectural beginning, he has since pursued his ambition to become a landscape architect and urban designer.
At HED, Akash has worked on a wide range of urban projects including city centre regeneration projects in Cardiff, Bicester and Coventry for the City of Culture 2021. He has been involved with the Bicester Village – a Designer Outlet - for a number of years and was the project landscape architect for the recent redevelopment seeing it through to delivery. He has also gained extensive experience of landscape interventions and green infrastructure issues for projects including Mumbai and Heathrow airports.
AAkash has also developed a flair for interior landscapes and roof terraces; overseeing the design development and completion of six roof gardens for EightyFen, in central London, as well as various internal opportunities including 25 North Colonnade for BP at Canary Wharf.
Akash has also been part of the in-house team taking the lead in implementation of BIM standards, protocols and delivery across HED.
