Gate Avenue DIFC scoops Retail Project Award (Future) at the Cityscape Global Awards 2017

Gate Avenue, Dubai International Financial Centre was awarded Retail Project Award (Future) at the Cityscape Global Awards 2017. The awards were held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE. 

Hyland Edgar Driver developed proposals for a 900m long flowing landscape of linear parkland above a destination retail mall. Raised planters accommodate dense planting and shade cover trees, seamlessly integrating building facades and blurring demise lines. A softly patterned ground plane sweeps through, between and around the landscape elements, connecting restaurant spaces, office, residential and hotel entrances. Amphitheatres offer focal points within the park landscape.
