Canterbury Cathedral Precinct wins Planning Permission
Planning Permission
Planning permission has been granted for vital restoration work at Canterbury Cathedral. The approved proposals, to be carried out over the next 5 years, are part funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and seek to open up the Cathedral and it’s collections to as many visitors as possible. Developments include improvements to the landscape at the west access to the Cathedral and the creation of a new Pilgrim’s Pass allowing free access to all Canterbury’s inhabitants.
